Our pieces are designed, drawn and prototyped in Paris,
and handcrafted by authentic Egyptian artisans in the heart of Cairo using 925 Sterling Silver, 18K Gold, Fine Leather,
and a handpicked selection of gemstones from around the world.

In preservation of Egyptian crafting traditions, every FYR piece travels through several specialized workshops in Khan El Khalili, Egypt’s main jewelry quarter.
There our talented craftsmen hand-craft, mold, saw, solder and polish every piece to perfection.
Every step of this precise operation enables us to keep alive jobs that would otherwise be replaced by factory machinery
and ensure that our industrial processes are low impact and sustainable.

SUSTAINABILITY & RECYCLED METALS
In our movement towards a zero-waste policy, the use of
18k Gold, 925 Sterling Silver and natural leather means we can recycle and reuse any discarded materials into new pieces of jewelry.
We work exclusively with trusted, long-established workshops and suppliers in Cairo’s souks families who have practiced and passed down their craft for generations.
OUR GOLD
Gold is sourced primarily through the local market, where existing jewelry is traditionally melted down and returned to the production cycle.
This recycling method helps limit our reliance on newly mined material and forms the foundation of our approach to more responsible production.
OUR SILVER
925 sterling silver begins with pure Swiss silver, blended with a premium Italian alloy to achieve consistent and controlled quality.
Every FYR JEWELRY piece in gold or silver is tested and officially hallmarked by Egypt’s government-regulated Assay and Weights Administration.
This official hallmark verifies the purity of the metal before the piece enters the market.
The same hallmarked pieces are then imported into France in accordance with applicable French and European requirements.
OUR LEATHER
The leather we add to our pieces is ethically sourced from local artisans who ensure premium durability and quality in our pieces.
With proper use and care, real leather allows for a piece to last far beyond one’s lifetime.
Our leather is a byproduct of local farming from animals who are primarily raised for food and charitably distributed.
Unlike factory farms, local agricultural farms ensure animal welfare and cruelty-free practices.
With high-quality jewelry that is made to last, you are investing only once in a piece with a circular — rather than linear — life cycle,
and one that will age beautifully as it is passed down to future generations.

NO TWO STONES ALIKE
Every natural gemstone used by FYR JEWELRY is handpicked for its quality, character and singular beauty.
Our selection ranges from Citrine marked by warm orange veining to exceptionally clear stones whose transparency allows the skin to show through,
to natural Onyx that may reveal delicate veins and inclusions, to many different families of Agate Gemstone with
depths and patterns that can differ dramatically from one cut to the next.
For this reason, no two stones—and no two finished pieces—will ever be exactly alike.
An exact colour or pattern can never be guaranteed. These natural variations are part of the stone’s identity
—and what makes each piece uniquely yours.
