OUR MATERIALS

925 STERLING SILVER

Our pieces are handcrafted in 925 sterling silver, made from pure 999 Swiss silver blended with a premium Italian alloy to achieve consistent quality, strength and durability.

The silver is completed with a high-quality anti-tarnish finish designed to slow the natural oxidation process. Over time, sterling silver may gradually darken. This is a natural characteristic of the material—and one we personally appreciate for the depth and character it gives each piece.

To restore its original shine, gently polish the silver using a soft jewelry-polishing cloth.

18 KARAT GOLD

We use solid 18-karat gold sourced primarily through Egypt’s local gold market, where existing jewelry is traditionally melted down and returned to the production cycle.

NATURAL GEMSTONES

Our natural gemstones are individually cut and polished to fit their settings. Because each stone is formed by nature, variations in colour, pattern, veining and inclusions are to be expected. These characteristics are not imperfections, but part of what makes every FYR piece unique.

Natural stones can be fragile. Protect them from impact, extreme heat, chemicals and prolonged exposure to moisture. Gently wipe them with a clean, soft cloth after wearing. As care requirements vary between stones, please contact us before using water or cleaning products on your piece.

FINE LEATHER

We use high-quality, top-grain cow leather selected for its strength, flexibility and durability. As a natural material, leather will soften and develop its own patina with time.

Keep leather away from excessive water, heat, perfume and cosmetics. If necessary, wipe it gently with a barely damp, soft cloth and allow it to dry naturally. Use only a suitable neutral leather conditioner, testing it first on a discreet area.

CARING FOR YOUR FYR PIECES

Avoid wearing your jewelry while bathing, swimming, exercising or sleeping. Apply perfumes, lotions and cosmetics before putting on your jewelry, allowing them to dry completely.

After wearing, gently wipe your piece and store it separately in a dry pouch or jewelry box to protect it from moisture, friction and scratches.

Each FYR piece is carefully handcrafted from precious and natural materials. Treating it with care will allow it to age beautifully, gather its own history and endure for generations.
